I can't believe Sunday will mark the first month that you have been
gone. It already seems like an eternity since I last saw you... I am
still stunned at how these last two months unfolded. I love you, Mom.

I try to get through these days but I find my breath taken away more
than once. And the tears come at just a mere thought. I don't want
you to keep this from being where you need to be. It's only natural
that I would mourn not only my beloved Mom but also someone who was my
friend day in and day out.

We had our moments of getting snippy, laughing, crying, worrying,
enjoying dinner, television, complaining that Battlestar Galactica was
over (and the way it ended)... and you got me hooked on Days of Our
Lives in the last six months... I savored every moment of…

I love pears but the little ones I've never eaten they are called Sickle Pears. If you have ever tried them let me know if they are good. The big one is a Bartlett and those are my favorite ones ~

I must not be the only one that has this weird twitch - I read a book, get to the last page and want more!!  So SOMEONE make a movie (Y)?  

Do they always work? 

Or conversely, there might be a book that you've read that should NEVER be unleashed on the world as a whole (Im feeling a Twilight backlash happening here)

Sunset at Newgale. There's a change in the weather - cold and frosty this evening - hopefully no more rain for a while!

It's a good day for Sissy! She doesn't need the collar anymore, she is almost all healed.

When the vet removed her collar, Sissy hid her face with her leg & paw and stayed that way until I put her back in her carrier. She has been bathing, scratching, bathing herself since we got home, which was about 45 minutes ago. She has ten days of grooming to catch up on!
